Manchester: Cooperative Bank
Looking south-east from the side entrance to Victoria station, the Metrolink tracks run across Corporation Street and into Balloon Street, just to the left of the Cooperative Bank. Interestingly, in the foreground of this picture, the tracks also cross the alignment of a very old Manchester street, Long Millgate, which was there long before Victoria Station itself, but which in modern times has all but disappeared. Ask a modern Mancunian for directions to Long Millgate, and it's 100 to 1 he will never have heard of it!
