After the downpour
Flood after thunderstorm and heavy downpour put an end to a very hot Sunday afternoon. A couple of drivers discovered that the water was too deep for their vehicles! Liverpool Road, Irlam.

Irlam station
After many years of disuse, the original Cheshire Lines Committee station building has been restored. It opened as a cafe, with a strong railway theme of course, in 2015. There is also a small museum on the upper floor.
