Former Irlam Police Station
Situated on Liverpool Road close to the boundary of Irlam and Cadishead. This building, now owned by a construction company, was formerly Irlam Police Station and dates from the time when this area was policed by the Lancashire Constabulary. After closing as a police station it was used for a time as the City of Salford's Archive Centre.

Northbank Industrial Estate, Cadishead, Irlam, Manchester
This estate occupies the site of a former steelworks and covers about half of this square. The industrial units seen are typical of this sort of development. The photo shows the view to the NE, the distant hills are the Pennines above Tameside.
