Tram at Droylsden
The Metrolink tram is on Ashton Road. It has just come from Bury, dropped its last passengers off at Droylsden tram stop is waiting to pull back into the stop for its return to Bury. The line beyond to Ashton is not due to open for around another twelve months.

This is as far as the tramway passenger service goes at present, but test running over the section beyond to Audenshaw and Ashton has been taking place and the line is due to open in late 2013.

Tram on Ashton Road
Metrolink tram 3011 is displaying the "Not in Service" message as it leaves Droylsden tram station heading toward Audenshaw. Moss Tavern
The Moss Tavern had existed on Ashton Road since 1868 and stayed open despite the disruption caused by the construction of the Metrolink extension to Ashton.
