Shudehill Tram Station
The tram station is actually on Balloon Street rather than Shudehill itself (which is the road crossing the tram track at the far end of the station as we look at it in this picture). It is part of the Shudehill Interchange (part of the bus station is just visible to the left of the photograph). See also Image

Tram Arriving at Shudehill Interchange
Shudehill interchange is a major transport hub situated a few hundred yards south of Manchester Victoria station in the city’s Northern Quarter. It comprises a Metrolink stop and a bus station. The tram platforms at Shudehill opened on 31 March 2003 and the full interchange opened on 29 January 2006 http://www.lrta.org/Manchester/city_centre.html .
The tram stop has two platforms, for inbound and outbound services. In this photograph, Bombardier M5000 tram number 3064 arrives at the outbound platform. It is on a service from Ashton-Under-Lyne to Victoria Station
