Metrolink platforms, Shudehill Interchange
When Metrolink was first opened, it crossed waste ground here and there was no station. Then the station was built and later the adjoining bus station, creating an impressive transport interchange.

Victoria Buildings, Dantzic Street, Manchester
Built as offices, warehouses and workshops by E.J. Sherwood & R. Thomas, 1874. An attractive building, reminiscent of some of Clegg & Knowles's earlier palazzo warehouses (e.g. Image]), but not as refined in its details. Grade II listed.
It is currently occupied by the City Stop Apartment Hotel, and Pulse nightclub.
