Greenfield Church, Urmston
Urmston Baptist Church on Primrose Avenue was founded in 1903. In 1976 it joined with the local Congregational Church under The Sharing of Church Buildings Act. Although legally two churches the denominations worship together and share the government of the church equally, maintaining only the minimum denominational bodies to satisfy legal requirements. Former bank in Urmston
This was once a Williams Deacon's Bank, and it went via Williams & Glyns to become part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. RBS closed it down in August 2018. The building has not yet found an alternative use.
