Moston Lane shops
It has managed to retain a shopping presence despite the advent of Asda at the western end of the lane. The range of shops is obviously now limited. Still having a couple of banks undoubtedly helps.

Hough Hall, Hough Hall Road, Manchester
"The only physical reminder of Moston's pre-industrial past". Late C16th or early C17th. Grade II listed. It was in a pretty parlous state when this photo was taken and subsequently deteriorated markedly. Its purchase in 2020 (for the bargain price of £165,000) may herald a revival.
