Path on route of former railway
A public footpath follows the route of the former mineral railway to Ashton's Field Colliery site. This is a path about to emerge in Windmill Road.

Cycle path following route of former railway
On the former Bridgewater Colliery railway route now known as the Linnyshaw Loopline. The open land is the site of Ashton's Field Colliery.
