Memorial Plaque
This memorial is set into the wall of the former Salford Royal Hospital, which has been redeveloped as an apartment block. It details the names of fourteen nurses at the hospital who died during a German air-raid in June 1941.

Nurses Memorial, Salford Royal Hospital Building
The hospital sustained a direct hit in a Luftwaffe bombing raid in 1941, in which fourteen nurses lost their lives. This plaque on the Chapel Street side of the building was unveiled in 1944 by the Duchess of Kent as a memorial. It reads:
