Haughton Green Methodist Church
This brick-built church stands on the corner of Two Trees Lane and Sunningdale Road. It was founded in 1810 as the Haughton Green Wesleyan Chapel and it is a typical building of the period with a slate roof, a gable at each end and plain rounded windows http://www.pittdixon.go-plus.net/denton/hg-meth.htm . The church closed in 2011 and services are now held in the Victorian church hall across Two Trees Lane (Image). The building was subsequently put up for sale and I have been told that it now a private house.

Foundation Stones at Haughton Green Sunday School
Although the Sunday School was built in 1877 it was presumably partially rebuilt later as these stones were laid on August 28th 1915. They are well-worn and not all the names can be made out.
