T O D A
The Garden of Remembrance in Denton commemorates those who gave their lives in two world wars. It was opened by Councillor Mrs Moores on 22nd May 1958 http://www.pittdixon.go-plus.net/denton/garden-rem.htm . It consists of an outer pyramidal frame containing poppies growing upwards into a sword that surmounts the frame. The tip of the sword is broken off and placed across the blade to form a cross. Recently added appears to be a model car covered in petals and carrying the letters T O D A but I haven't been able to discover anything about it.
