Giant iPhone X advert, Quay Street, Manchester
The latest model of iPhone (supposedly pronounced "iPhone Ten" though I've not heard anyone say that yet) was launched in the UK on November 3rd 2017 and retailed at around £1000.

Granada House, Atherton Street, Manchester
By Ralph Tubbs, 1960-62, for Granada Television, who, as is apparent, still occupies the building. Pevsner describes the curtain-walled block as an "simple unpretentious" design. The Twentieth Century Society provide more detail: "light grey granite walls with the main facades glass, with their highly polished black gabbro sills, separated by white marble and grey limestone supports. High building standards have meant little or no renovation has been needed to the façade of the building, leaving the original outside fabric unaltered." In an act of gross vandalism, the iconic lettering at the top has been removed (see Image]). Tubbs was also responsible for the two-storey block in the foreground, built in 1956.
The TCS website also notes that Tubbs was "best known for his work on the 1951 Festival of Britain, with his design for the Festival’s centrepiece, The Dome of Discovery."
The building's future is uncertain as there have been rumblings about the company leaving Manchester.
