Brooklands Cemetery Chapel
Sale Brooklands Cemetery lies on both sides of Marsland Road, near Brooklands Station. The north side is the older and also houses this chapel. The north side also boasts a large number of large and ornate tombs. Because the cemetery, which opened in 1862, predated Manchester's Southern Cemetery, many wealthy Manchester families were buried in Sale.
