Sale Old Hall, Dovecote
Pictured at its former location adjacent to the Junction 6 roundabout of the M60. In Spring 2003, due to planned motorway expansion, the structure was carefully dismantled, and has now been re-built at a new location at Walkden Gardens in Sale. Image

Electricity Pylon, Sale Water Park
One of the dominant features of the square is the high voltage power line which crosses Sale Water Park. This pylon is near the south eastern end of the lake. A footpath runs beneath the legs. There is a second pylon in the square on the northern shore of the lake.

Mersey Valley Country Park Visitor Centre
The Mersey Valley Country Park forms a green lung between Manchester and Trafford. Unfortunately the cafe at the Visitor Centre was not open on the Tuesday we visited.
