Sale, J.P. Joule
Wetherspoons public house on Northenden Road, named after former local resident James Prescott Joule, physicist and mathematician. Internally, a long room with counter left, and eating and drinking areas front, right and back; upstairs balcony and rear beer garden. Eight cask ales were on offer at my visit. The pub is Good Beer Guide listed.
