The Fabric of Manchester
Standing 2.8 metres tall and constructed of Stainless Steel, the Fabric of Manchester sculpture was created by figurative sculptor Clare Bigger. was Commissioned by Bruntwood in 2005 and stands outside Albertson House on St Mary's Parsonage. This sculpture "conveys the concept that Bruntwood is part of the fabric of Manchester, weaving links with society and the environment" (http://www.clarebigger.com/sculptures/sculpture31.asp - Clare Bigger web site).

Trinity Bridge, Chapel Wharf, Salford
Supported by stainless steel cables, this footbridge crosses the River Irwell. Built 1993-95 to the designs of Santiago Calatrava.
Behind is Alberton House, dating perhaps from the 1970s.
