Larry Sullivan Gardens: Plaque
After Longford Hall was demolished in 1995 a garden was created within the foundations. This plaque records:

LARRY SULLIVAN
GARDENS
These gardens were created in 1996 and are dedicated
to.Larry Sullivan (1916 - 1992) in recognition of his
long public service in this area. He was the Mayor
of Trafford in 1982-83, a Council Member of
Stretford Borough Council from 1966 to 1973,
County Councillor with Greater Manchester County
Council, a member of the Passenger Transport
Authority and a Councillor for the Talbot Ward of
Trafford Borough Council 1974 to 1992.
