Gateway, Chester Road, Stretford
Grand entrance to Gorse Hill Park. Much too grand for a public park - it was moved from Trafford Hall in the mid C19th. The central arch is framed by Corinthian columns, outside of which are pedestrian entrances and canted lodges, now clearly disused. Grade II listed.
