Eccles railway station, Greater Manchester
Opened in 1830 by the Liverpool & Manchester Railway.
View west towards Patricroft and Liverpool, after electrification (compare with Image] taken from the opposite platform in 2010). New waiting shelters have also been provided.
There used to be a further two platforms to the right.
