Queens Arms, Patricroft
Right by the Manchester & Liverpool Railway and claimed to be the world's first railway public house, opening in 1828 in anticipation of the trade from the railway. Patricroft Station is next door. I'm stood on the wall by the 1851 Nasmyth steam hammer - another important monument.
