Bridges over the Irwell
The grey mistiness was caused by a brief passing shower of rain. The nearer crossing is the Clifton Viaduct which carried the railway branch from Clifton to Bury. The further bridge was an aqueduct carrying the Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal.
