2-4 Mount Street, Manchester
Another luscious piece of Mancunian Victoriana. As ever, bristling with gables, turrets and elaborate chimneystacks. The corner bay boasts a two-storey oriel displaying the masons' skill (Image]). By Pennington & Bridgen, 1874-76. Grade II* listed.
Built for the Inland Revenue, it is now, like a lot of places, a bar and restaurant, Beluga. Offices above.
