New blocks of flats in the centre of Prestwich
There used to be a precinct and a small Sainsbury's supermarket here, but these flats have been built on the site. What is left of the precinct area is struggling against the Tesco just up the road. This view is taken from the Longfield Suite car park.

Queuing at Greggs
Under the current coronavirus pandemic lockdown only takeaway food is available and only two people at a time are allowed into shops such as Greggs leading to a socially-distanced queue outside.

Prestwich precinct - 28-5-2010
This new residential/ retail section of Prestwich Precinct replaced the old Sainsbury's which stood on the site until around 2000 - current shops include Costa Coffee, Gregg's bakery, The Cheese Place and Superdrug
