36 Kennedy Street, Manchester
Writing a few years ago, Pevsner noted its parlous condition, since when money has clearly spoken. At least the small but lively Gothic facade has been preserved. Built 1878 by Nicholson & Mottram. Grade II listed. One wouldn't expect anything more than the bare minimum to be kept, but the adjacent building does not appear to be listed. It has pretty tiles set into the brickwork.
