BAE Systems, Chadderton
This BAE Systems site on Greengate in south Chadderton, Greater Manchester, was the factory which produced some of the United Kingdom's most famous aircraft. In March 2012 it will close and its operations moved to a site in Samlesbury, Lancashire.

The former BAE Systems, Chadderton
Once the famous AVRO works, but now shut down. A couple of subsequent users of the site appear also to have left.

Manchester & Leeds Railway North Of Moston Station
Part of the first Trans-Pennine railway immediately north of Moston station. The next bridge carries the M60 motorway. Between 1955-1986 the view ahead would have been dominated by Chadderton B electricity generating station and its attendant cooling towers (see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/810586 for a view from further south).
