Buzzwig van Bee-thovan
Located in Barbirolli Square this Bee was created by Megan Heather Evans and sponsored by AEW.
"Bee-thoven is based on Ludwig van Beethoven, the renowned German composer and pianist. Manchester houses so many incredible musicians, and classical music is still prominent today, with many notable orchestras based in the city. There’s even an amateur Manchester Beethoven Orchestra. This is a small homage to the diversity of music found in this city."
"AEW welcomes the Bee in the City project to Barbirolli Square where their Bee will sit outside the distinctive buildings of 100 & 101 Barbirolli Square opposite the Bridgewater Hall. The Square, named after Sir John Barbirolli the famous British conductor long associated with the Hallé Orchestra, is an ideal location to celebrate art and music together in the heart of Manchester."

Tram 2001 approaching G-Mex
2001 bears the gramatically slightly odd nameplate "The Joe Clarke OBE", in honour of the former Chair of Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority. It has adverts for Monarch Airlines "Leading the Low-Cost Revolution" and "Expect More, Pay Less".
