Milk Street, Manchester
Whilst on a guided tour, I was told that the Vegetarian Society, in its early days in the 19th century, had some offices on Milk Street (a narrow turning off Marble Street) but I have not been able to confirm that on any vegetarian website. The large white building is part of Primark, previously Lewis's.

York House, York Street, Manchester
Unusually for a post-war office block, top and bottom are clad in glazed cream tiles which are continued up the facade in narrow strips, between which are windows divided by bands of dark-grey or black brick. By Leach, Rhodes & Walker, 1975. Information from http://www.manchester2002-uk.com.
