Metrolink Airport Line, Shadowmoss
Metrolink tram number 3080 departs the Shadowmoss stop on the last stage of its journey to Manchester Airport.
The track here runs along a reserved way to the east of Shadowmoss Road. The Shadowmoss stop has two facing platforms for inbound (ie travelling towards Manchester Cornbrook) and outbound (ie travelling towards Manchester Airport) trams. There is a track-level pedestrian crossing at each end with footways leading to Shadowmoss Road.

Watching the flypast at Shadowmoss
The end of Shadowmoss Road close to the end of the runway at Manchester Airport is always a gathering spot for plane-spotters. Vulcan bomber XH558 has just flown over and is just visible between the trees.
Update: Although this was billed as the aircraft's last flight it did in fact make a number of other fly-pasts later in the year.
