Watching the flypast at Shadowmoss
The end of Shadowmoss Road close to the end of the runway at Manchester Airport is always a gathering spot for plane-spotters. Vulcan bomber XH558 has just flown over and is just visible between the trees.
Update: Although this was billed as the aircraft's last flight it did in fact make a number of other fly-pasts later in the year.

Railway Bridge at Ringway Road
The railway line goes under the bridge and into a cutting where it meets the Metrolink line which is on the far side of Ringway Road West at the top of this photograph. Both lines terminate at the Manchester Airport.
