Metrolink extension sign
Transport for Greater Manchester apologise for the inconvenience caused by the major roadworks occurring here in Ringway - part of the civil engineering works for the forthcoming "Airport line" of Greater Manchester's Metrolink tram system. Completion is anticipated to occur in 2016!

Watching the flypast at Shadowmoss
The end of Shadowmoss Road close to the end of the runway at Manchester Airport is always a gathering spot for plane-spotters. Vulcan bomber XH558 has just flown over and is just visible between the trees.
Update: Although this was billed as the aircraft's last flight it did in fact make a number of other fly-pasts later in the year.
