The Milson Rhodes, Didsbury
Wetherspoon's pub. Wetherspoon's usually try to name their pubs with a local connection, and this is named after a local doctor in the Victorian era who devoted himself to social reform. The rise to the right crosses a former railway which is being resurrected as a Metrolink line.

Beneath the shops of Disbury Village passes what is now the Metrolink tram line to Manchester This spot was once Didsbury's original station, built by the Cheshire Lines Committee. Cast iron post by the B5093, in parish of MANCHESTER (MANCHESTER District), Wilmslow Road; Didsbury, near junction with Barlow Moor Road in front of No 661, on pavement, on East side of road.
