Trains Crossing North of East Didsbury Station
A zoomed photo of 2 First Transpennine Express trains crossing just north of the station. The one on the left is the Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service, seen in Image, which has just sped through the station. The one on the right is a service to Manchester Airport. This will also pass non-stop, but it is travelling much slower due to being held up by the preceding Crewe train, seen in Image, which is a stopping service.

Clocktower at Tesco Superstore in Didsbury
There is a 24-hour Tesco superstore in Didsbury. It has an interesting clocktower, as shown, which is unusual for a supermarket.

Shops on Wilmslow Road
A group of three (end of a row of four) shops between Parrs Wood Road and Parrs Wood Avenue. On the left is the Good Fortune Chinese restaurant. On the right below the Didsbury Holistic Centre is a computer shop. When the google-car took images for Streetview (2008/09) it appears the end shop was vacant and the computer shop was in the middle. Now it has moved next door the middle premises are now the offices of Didsbury Family Law solicitors.

Shops at East Didsbury
On the right is Alfie's Head Shop. Previously it had been Alexanders of Didsbury and before that Pearson's Barber Shop.
Next is the Didsbury Grill which is offering free delivery. The covered signage reads "Dishbury Indian". The postbox outside attests to the fact this was originally a Post Office. The Post Office closed around 2008. It later became a halal restaurant called Shaad.
To the left is The Dentists of Didsbury. Before 2017 the premises were a laundry.
The shuttered property at the end has previously operated as a cafe.

Not Open 24 Hours
Normally the Tesco supermarket at Parrs Wood/East Didsbury is open 24 hours but on Easter Sunday it was closed and its car park was entirely empty.
