The Towers, Didsbury
The former home of the Victorian engineer Daniel Adamson, now part of a business park. On 27th June 1882 a meeting was held here to start the campaign that led to the construction of the Manchester Ship Canal. (See also Image ). Edinburgh Train Approaching East Didsbury Station
Taken 49 seconds after Image, this First Transpennine Express train from Manchester Airport to Edinburgh is the next train north on this very busy section of the railway system. It will pass non-stop through the station.

Didsbury Cricket Club
Looking across Didsbury CC's Wilmslow Road ground towards Parrs Wood Road and Kingsway. The first XI play in the ECB Cheshire Premier League. The club also run four other teams in the Cheshire County Cricket League and a women's team in the Cheshire Women's Cricket League. The ground is looking a little worn probably due to winter lacrosse use.
