Parrs Wood Court
The five storey block of flats known as Parrs Wood Court was built in 1939. They had the luxury then of central heating and electric lifts. https://chorltonhistory.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/down-at-parrs-wood-court-with-some.html
The property lies on the corner of Wilmslow Road and the A34 Kingsway at East Didsbury.

Parrs Wood Green
I'm calling this Parrs Wood Green as I don't know a more definitive name for this little green park surrounded by busy roads. On the left is the A34 Kingsway. On the right is a spur of the A5145 which after crossing Kingsway becomes the B5095 Wilmslow Road. The main line of the A5145 passes to the north of this green behind the camera.
There is a tree in the centre of the green, footpaths across it and benches. On the opposite side of Kingsway is the Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre https://parrswoodmanchester.co.uk/attractions featuring a Cineworld multiplex cinema, casino, gym, bowling, laser tag, hotel and a range of restaurants.

A little green oasis with trees, footpaths and benches. It is surrounded by busy roads including the A5145 from Didsbury to Stockport, the A34 Kingsway, seen on the right, and the B5095 Wilmslow Road.

Access Road to East Didsbury Station
Giving access to the southbound platform 2 and the car park. Despite several signs warning drivers of car thieves operating in the area, people still left items in view. There were actually 2 cars that had been broken into.

Parrs Wood Green
I'm calling it Parrs Wood Green as I don't know a more definitive name for this little green park with a tree in the centre, footpaths across it and benches. It is surrounded by busy roads. Going left to right is the A5145 from East Didsbury to Stockport. On the left is a spur of the A5145 which after crossing the busy A34 Kingsway, which is behind us, becomes the B5095 Wilmslow Road.
