Former pub, Stockport Road, Manchester
This was once the Pack Horse. Much terracotta decoration. The lettering at the top reads, "Licensed in 1587 Rebuilt 1907". The latter date, at least, seems plausible.
In a rare reversal of fortune, the building has since been renovated and is now a restaurant.
