Church of St Peter, Levenshulme
The Grade II listed church https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254684 was built in 1860 by Alfred G Fisher and enlarged in 1872 and 1896. In recent years it has combined with the former St Andrew's Church and is now serves the combined parishes of St Peter with St Andrew. The Upper Room made a TV appearance in the late 1990s when it was redesigned by Changing Rooms' Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen in a swap with the local Baptist Church! http://stpeterandstmarklevenshulme.org.uk/about-2/

Levy War Memorial Lychgate

War Memorial Lychgate at St Peter's Church
The stone-built archway/lychgate outside St Peter's Church at Levenshulme was built as a war memorial outside the nineteenth century church. There are four slate plaques with dedication and names from 1st World War inside the arch.
