Church and Betting Shop
The Arise and Shine Christian Ministry on Hyde Road, Gorton shares its premises with "BetFred". I wonder how many other churches share their premises with a betting shop.

Gorton Rushcart 1985
One year on from Image we are back again in Gorton for the rushbearing. This time the moment of truth as the cart is brought out from the back of the Suburban PH: will it stay in one piece? It did, but it was all down to years of practice by a dedicated team.

The 'Horns' are out in Gorton
The Abbots Bromley Horn Dancers performing outside the Suburban. An unusual sight to see the Horn Dancers straying outside their village in Staffordshire. Once let off the leash on the day the dancers were seen weaving their way through the market and up and down the aisles in the supermarket. The dancers were in Gorton for the annual rushcart procession.Image
