Grosvenor Square
Grosvenor Square was once the burial ground of All Saints Church. The church was demolished after World War II and this pleasant garden remains. The sign on the stone ahead tells us that it was renovated in 1995 by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) “for the benefit of both its students and the general public”. The sign also reminds us that the park is still regarded as consecrated ground. The area around here is still known as “All Saints”, even though the church has been gone a long time.

Temporary Pride of Manchester display in Grosvenor Square
I was in Grosvenor Square off Oxford Road and saw what I first thought was a new artwork. However it turns out it was just a temporary display being used in a photoshoot promoting The Pride of Manchester awards which are sponsored by TSB. I was told it was about to be removed in the next ten minutes.
