Rusholme, Curry Mile
This stretch of Wilmslow Road is best seen at night when the neon is on. The local online guide http://www.rusholmecurry.co.uk/ lists 20 restaurants, but there are surely many more, and many cafés as well. My favourite is the Lal Qila Kebab House in Thurloe Street: their fish and lamb chops are delicious.
