Shops in Wilmslow Road Rusholme
This stretch of road in Manchester is known as the Curry Mile and is world famous thanks largely to the sheer number of bright neon-lit Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Indian restaurants, takeaways and Shisha lounges.

Rusholme, Curry Mile
This stretch of Wilmslow Road is best seen at night when the neon is on. The local online guide http://www.rusholmecurry.co.uk/ lists 20 restaurants, but there are surely many more, and many cafés as well. My favourite is the Lal Qila Kebab House in Thurloe Street: their fish and lamb chops are delicious.
