An impressive array of silos dedicated to producing lager, currently of the Heineken variety. Formerly Royal Brewery and before that Scottish & Newcastle. Few, if any, of the present buildings/structures pre-date the 1960s. Built on the site of the late C19th Albert Brewery.

Royal Brewery, Moss Side
For many years this was part of the Scottish & Newcastle group, but now belongs to Heineken UK. For a long time it was famous for the large Harp sign on the side. You don't hear much of Harp Lager now, though it is apparently brewed in the nearby Hyde's Brewery. The Royal Brewery continues to make some sort of lager of doubtful desirability. It is viewed here across Princess Parkway.

A Manchester Lager Factory
I can't bring myself to call this a brewery due to its monumental scale. Also the product produced is ersatz Dutch lager.
