The front gives an appearance of being paper thin, as if applied later. The brick is exposed round the corner. Quite decorative with a jolly roofline, not run of the mill.
Now the Manchester base of the National Probation Service.

Rochdale Canal towpath, Minshull Street
At this point the canal towpath rises to street level and the next few hundred yards (including lock 86) have no towpath, only Canal Street running parallel to the canal but some way above it.

50 Windows of Creativity #45 (People)
Installation #45 on the “50 Windows of Creativity” trail was this piece entitled "People" by Illustrator Guy McKinley who switched from paper to glass to produce his vibrant design which celebrates humans in all their guises of the present in beautiful colourful stained glass windows at No 1 Canal Street.
