Private tram track off London Road, Manchester

Manchester's free buses
When I took this picture there were three free buses operating from here - Station Approach, which is the main way into Piccadilly train station. As of four days later, three had become two.
However they still whizz around short circuits of the city centre from 7am until 11pm (at 10 minute intervals for most of the day) and link the station with Manchester's other big one, Victoria, its two coach stations, and various other places nearby. No money, no apps, no fuss at all - very impressive stuff. They may cost a bit but certainly make visitors feel welcome, judging by the conversations going on onboard, so hopefully pay off overall.
