Jackson's Warehouse
I have no clue who Jackson was, this warehouse was built for the Rochdale canal in 1836. It is a grade II listed building - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254689 It is now smart apartments overlooking the canal basin.

Hilton Street
Tucked in the middle of this group of Victorian buildings are two from the end of the 18th century, complete with Georgian door-cases. These two are grade II listed buildings - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1218704 .

Dreamscape Garden
The Dreamscape Garden has its home in Piccadilly Basin as part of the Manchester Garden City scheme. The garden includes lots of balcony-style planting, a small water feature and view of the Rochdale Canal near the Hacienda apartments on Whitworth Street West. It is looked after by the local gardening group – the Northern Quarter Greening Group.
