95 Piccadilly, Manchester
A slender face to Piccadilly, its bulk spreading along Paton Street. Brick with stone dressings, lots of arched windows, some crow-stepped gables and bulbous chimneystacks. It's a good building, probably mid-Victorian, and its unlisted status is odd. Perhaps the quality of detailing was thought to be lacking. The front shop was occupied by Greggs the bakers, the offices above looked empty.

77-83 Piccadilly
Designed by Manchester Architects Clegg and Knowles and built in 1877, This has recently been restored and the delightful sandstone colour is a paint job. This is a grade II listed building (https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271232 )
