Bradley's Court, Manchester
A refreshingly ungentrified street, little more than an alley, its original purpose probably to provide access to warehouses' loading bays. Even such tiny thoroughfares, however, are not exempt from signage.

Serenity - The Lady in Red
This dramatic mural, named ‘Serenity’, is painted on the back wall of the New Cow Hotel; it can be seen from Little Lever Street. It was created for the 2018 Cities of Hope Festival by SNIK, a male-female duo who, have established themselves as progressive stencil artists. The mural is a tribute to the suffragettes who gathered defiantly in Manchester over a century ago. The woman’s deep crimson dress is perhaps indicative of bloodshed but also of anger, danger and passion.
