Formerly known as the Crabtree, but I'm sure it didn't use to be a Holt's pub. Situated by Lock 13 on the Ashton Canal.

Ashton Canal, Lock 11 at Clayton Junction
One of the Clayton flight of locks on the Ashton Canal. Behind are the storage tanks of Anchor Chemicals (now a subsidiary of Air Products) one of the long established industries in this part of East Manchester. Just visible on the left hand side of the towpath, behind the lock, is the bridge which used to cross the Stockport Branch of the Ashton Canal. This branch is now filled in.
Lock#11 is also known as "Junction Lock".
