Houghton Hall, Houghton Regis
A splendid late C17th (i.e. William & Mary) house in Houghton Regis fronting onto a common which presumably was once its own grounds. There is a large industrial & business estate behind it which takes its name and again presumably is built on its original grounds. I'm pleased to have snapped this one, as Houghton is my middle name. EH Grade II* listed: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1321335?section=official-list-entry
