Evelyn Road, Dunstable
These houses are built on the site of the old Highfield County Primary School site. I don't know when the school was demolished and it is very hard to find anything out about the history of the school. If anyone has any info or pictures I'd be glad to hear from them.

Dunstable: The Halfway
This roundabout marks the point at which Luton Road, Dunstable changes into Dunstable Road, Luton. The road is the A505 but follows the route of The Icknield Way here. The Halfway is now a Beefeater Restaurant and its address is 350 Luton Road, Dunstable.

Site of Highfield County Primary School, Dunstable
The house to the rear is on Evelyn Road and is on the site of the old Highfield school. Immediately to the right of the line of trees and towards the back is the site of a classroom separate from the main building where in the 1960s a Miss Moss used to teach.
